About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Upwell’s product strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, design, data, and customer-facing teams—to build and optimize innovative solutions that drive measurable value for our customers. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a deep passion for solving customer problems.

What You'll Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Partner with senior leadership to refine and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Prioritize product initiatives based on customer needs, business goals, and market dynamics.

Product Board & Workflow Management

  • Manage the product management board, organizing features, tracking progress, and ensuring a smooth workflow from ideation through launch and optimization.
  • Drive alignment across teams on product priorities and timelines.

Customer Research & Insights

  • Conduct in-depth customer interviews, surveys, and research to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Translate insights into actionable product decisions and features.

Feature Definition & Requirements

  • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements to guide engineering and design teams.
  • Ensure clarity and alignment on product requirements across stakeholders.

Data Analysis & Optimization

  • Define and track key product metrics to measure success.
  • Analyze user behavior and performance data to drive continuous product improvements.

Customer Support & Feedback Loop

  • Partner with customer success and support teams to gather ongoing feedback, facilitate successful product implementations, and resolve product-related issues.
  • Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product development lifecycle.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the overall product development process.
  • Drive improvements in user experience and product performance.

What You Bring

  • 5-7+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful software products.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure product impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with product management tools such as Linear, Roadmunk, or similar platforms.
  • Solid technical understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Ability to translate customer needs and business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Customer-first mindset with a deep passion for solving real-world problems and delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Proficiency with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar.
  • Experience in the logistics, supply chain, or financial operations space is a significant plus.
