Role Description

We are looking for our founding sales hire to help drive our end-to-end sales process. You will closely work with the founders and work throughout the sales pipeline. This is a critical role for the company with significant career growth potential. You will help build and potentially lead a sales organization as the company grows.

We are looking for someone who is very hands-on and can get creative to work with limited resources.


  • Drive conversion from inbound free trials to the paid subscription.
  • Prospect and identify potential clients in the market using various lead generation techniques, such as community and free trial users, social media outreach, etc.
  • Conduct thorough research on prospects to identify their specific security needs, pain points, and decision-makers.
  • Engage with potential customers through various channels such as email, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Schedule meetings and product demos with qualified prospects.
  • Lead the sale closing process.
  • Build and continuously improve sales playbooks.
  • Collaborate with founders to drive post-sales revenue, ensure retention, and contribute to growth.

Required Qualification

  • 5+ years of SaaS enterprise sales experience.
  • Cybersecurity SaaS sales experience.
  • Startup experience.
  • Based out of the US (Remote), Seattle preferred.
  • Driven, self-motivated, and creative-thinker always on the lookout for ways to improve or enhance current sales efforts and outcomes.

Desired Qualification

  • Experience selling security solutions for developers.
  • Experience with open-source/freemium PLG sales motion.
