Are you a Product Designer that has a passion for creating intuitive features that solve problems for your target users? Does the idea of building the features that aim to delight our customers excite you?
We’re looking for an experienced Product Design Lead who will have the chance to lead the design process at Klir and help build, coach, and mentor a quickly growing and highly skilled group of designers. As our Product Design Lead, you will report into the Director of Product and work in close partnership with other designers and all verticals in the company. You will work within an Agile development team to build an enterprise grade solution which accurately reflects the requirements of a wide range of users across multiple Klir implementations. You will be responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure associated with a product in a way that is attractive and convenient for users.

Requirements
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Lead, oversee, and grow a team of high-performing product designers by communicating a vision, providing direction, mentorship, and inspiration
- Promote best practices in UX and UI, interaction design, and visual design
- Define and align designers on a Design System to be followed to drive a cohesive user experience for Klir systems
- Drive excellence through collaboration with product management and engineering teams, our go-to-market teams to identify business opportunities and user needs
- Initiate and support different Discovery initiatives to support informed decision making for new features and enhancements
- Promote informed decision-making using quantitative and qualitative research to ensure users' observability needs are understood and met
- Deliver quality user experiences that improve usability and provide meaningful value across web and mobile applications
- Drive standards for design excellence supporting our design system, principles, and guidelines
- Exercise strong communication and nurture a culture of contributing, feedback, and design excellence
- Work closely with our Product Management, Product Engineering, Comms, Marketing, and senior leadership to deliver stunning and effective work
Required skills and experience:
- 7+ years of relevant product design experience, ideally in enterprise software, SaaS B2C or B2B products
- 2+ years of experience with mentoring other designers
- Adept at delivering high-quality work in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Test-and-learn know-how to measure and refine designs based on user and market data
- Experience attracting, hiring, mentoring and retaining top talent
- Strong project management abilities
- Experience working with a distributed development team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, flexible and adaptable
- Relentlessly customer-focused
- Your best work is done in a highly collaborative way
- Ability to find a meaningful balance between optimizing for speed, quality, and doing risky, but interesting work
