At FirmPilot, we’re building technology that helps law firms grow faster. Every client website and digital campaign we manage is an extension of that mission. We’re looking for a WordPress Admin & QA Specialist who knows WordPress inside and out and takes pride in catching what others miss.

This is not a content-upload or plugin-toggle role. We need someone who can think like a developer, test like a perfectionist, and act like a project manager. You’ll own the QA and upkeep of client sites, ensuring every deployment is accurate, fast, secure, and client-ready.

If you have a deep understanding of how WordPress works behind the scenes and can translate bugs, performance issues, and UX inconsistencies into actionable fixes, you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Do

  • Review, audit, and QA client websites in WordPress to ensure all updates, content changes, and new builds meet FirmPilot standards.
  • Manage the WordPress backend environment including plugin updates, theme integrity, site performance, and compatibility checks.
  • Identify bugs, inconsistencies, or performance issues, and clearly document them for developers to resolve.
  • Conduct pre-launch and post-deployment QA, including responsiveness testing, accessibility validation, and load performance checks.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to translate client feedback into technical action items.
  • Monitor production environments for uptime, version control, and overall stability across client sites.
  • Maintain detailed QA documentation and process tracking in tools such as Monday, Notion, and Slack.
  • Support process improvements by recommending automation, tools, and workflows that enhance quality and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of professional experience with WordPress site administration, QA, or development (SaaS experience preferred).
  • Strong familiarity with plugins, page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg), themes, and hosting environments.
  • Ability to perform manual and functional QA testing with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of basic front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Understanding of site performance metrics and SEO fundamentals as they relate to QA.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, communicate clearly, and follow through on issues until resolution.
  • Experience documenting bugs and QA findings in platforms like Monday, Asana, or Jira.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Availability for after-hours or weekend support as needed for urgent client updates or releases.
