R&D Data Scientist. Reporting To: Head of R&D. Level: Middle Level. Location: Kyiv, Ukraine preferred but not limited. Overview: Cloverpop is a pioneer in Decision Intelligence technologies enabling enterprises to model, orchestrate, automate, and learn from mission-critical decision processes. Role Description: Focus on automating decision-making processes across business areas; develop backend modules for Decision Intelligence assistants and agentic AI systems; use advanced analytics and ML, predictive analytics and big data tools for automated analysis of structured/unstructured data to generate natural language insights, recommendations and decision recommendations. Responsibilities: Work with AI experts, data scientists, engineering, analysts and researchers to deliver insights and recommendations; identify valuable data sources and automate ETL for structured/unstructured data; analyze large, complex datasets to find trends, patterns, anomalies and insights; develop and deploy ML models and predictive algorithms for automated analysis, recommendations and decisions; design and implement real-time decision systems (current state analysis, recommendations, process optimization); evaluate and fine-tune algorithms for accuracy, scalability and performance; collaborate with decision success, engineering, and product teams; present complex analytics and outcomes to non-technical stakeholders clearly. Qualifications: Master’s in data science/computer science/statistics/mathematics or related; 3+ years relevant experience; strong Python proficiency and ML libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, SciPy, Statsmodels, TensorFlow, PyTorch); familiarity with SQL/NoSQL, GitHub tools and A/B testing frameworks a big plus; understanding of time series and forecasting; strong problem-solving and strategic mindset; excellent communication; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.) and marketing mix modeling (especially CPG) a big plus; high energy and passion for AI-driven decision-making.
