Blue Triangle is searching for a Sales Development Rep. Our Sales Development process and team is not be a smile and volume dial operation but rather a team of professional relationship builders who are able to build rapport with high-level decision makers and cultivate a relationship that ultimately leads to a partnership and long-term relationship. It’s not a “throw a lead over the fence to a seller” process but rather a partnership with an account executive to move a complex, high-ticket sale with multiple buyers and influencers through the buying process to achieve ultimate success.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound leads and properly disposition them.
  • Engage with inbound prospects, qualify and schedule and participate in highly qualified meetings for Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Leverage prospecting tools and outbound calling techniques to engage with and schedule meetings with identified target accounts.
  • Help perfect the lead qualification process as well as partner with Sales and others on the Marketing team to optimize the selling process and increase sales velocity.
  • Develop procedures, call guides and training materials that will be used to train future team members.
  • Work closely with Sales, Demand Gen, and Marketing leadership to ensure the success of campaigns, while providing constructive input to develop new campaigns.
  • Develop and report on key metrics to measure the success of leads and opportunities, identifying the sequences and campaigns that contributed to advancing and closing sales opportunities.

 

Skills, Experience, and Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in sales development, including as a Sales Development Rep working leads and prospects.
  • Experience qualifying and selling in a business-to-business environment, including via phone, ideally for highly complex sales with multiple decision makers and influencers for large ticket, considered purchases.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver, naturally curious, who likes digging into research and figure out best way to engage with prospects 1:1.
  • Team player and someone who likes to work hard while having fun and building effective marketing programs.
  • Strong preference for someone experienced with selling SaaS solutions.

Ideal candidate would also have:

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and adept at multi-tasking with high attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Team player and someone who likes to work hard while having fun and building effective marketing programs.
  • Motivated, self-directed and effective in a remote work environment.
  • Experience working with sales enablement tools, such as Outreach.io and Salesloft.
  • Technical skills with general software tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint) and specific tools (e.g., HubSpot, ZoomInfo, etc.).
  • Experience selling software to developers, product and marketing teams preferred.
