As Abett scales, the complexity and volume of data we handle for our clients is increasing significantly. This role is essential for designing scalable processes that ensure our continued success and efficiency in a fast paced and challenging environment.

Role Summary

Abett is hiring a Data Integration Specialist for our Inbound Data Operations team. This role works business to business to ensure our customers and data partners get the data they need into their Lockbox to make informed decisions in a timely matter. This position will allow you to learn the core functions of Abett's business and processes, and thus may serve as a launchpad into other roles within our organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs. Our Operations team puts the needs of our clients first.
• Work with data partners to build and test data connections and pipelines.
• Map data sources to our groundbreaking, industry-first universal data model.
• Perform rigorous validation of inbound data feeds to ensure data accuracy and reliability for our clients.
• Review and resolve operational production issues, responding with a sharp attention to detail.
• Engage with Abett's engineering and product teams to improve and enhance the Lockbox platform and processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Requires 4-5 years of data integration, analytics or validation experience.
• Experience using SQL.
• Must find inherent joy in attention to detail and delivering error-free work product.
• Passionate about finding root causes, trends, and patterns in data.
• Demonstrates strong ability to communicate, both orally and in writing.
• Able to translate technical engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Comfortable speaking with sophisticated clients from Fortune 100 employers.
• Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit with a high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity.
• Seeking innovative problem solvers with a continuous improvement mindset to enhance our tools and internal processes.
• Looking for collaborative, curious, inquisitive candidates with a can-do attitude. Must have grit.
